Born in Dayton, Ohio to a non-musical family, Linus Lau was trained in composition by Lynn Shurtleff and Henry Mollicone.
His unique blend of smart orchestration and musical personality has landed him much work in the suspense and horror realm despite his true background as a trumpet-toting band geek who bears scars from an accidental viewing of Salem's Lot at age six.
In late 2018, his driving and out-of-this-world new EP, “Coda” touched down on iTunes, Spotify, GooglePlay and Apple Music. For the price of a movie ticket, you can also hear his tunes in various film trailers at a movie theater near you.
His client list includes 20th Century Fox, Valve Entertainment, and Columbia Pictures.
